Biography

Singer/Songwriter Vonnie Scott aspires to reach a broad audience with her message of love, hope, and optimism, while offering up stirring, gritty vocals, take-notice guitar work, and lyrics to touch every listener.

Armed with a strong faith and a voice that scoffs at conventional limits, the Indiana-born artist started making waves in the early 80's singing lead and back-up for various local bands, as well as doing studio projects, all while earning a Music degree from Butler University in Indianapolis.

In 1998, Vonnie uprooted to Southern California to enjoy the sea, the sun, and the LA music scene! After 6 years of singing and playing in the LA clubs and coffee-houses, performing both her originals and fronting the Heart Tribute band, "Barracuda", Vonnie and her family decided to head back to the Midwest. She and her husband, Cliff, currently own and operate Scottie Dog Music, a recording studio in Bloomington, Indiana, (check out the website: www.scottiedogmusic.com).

Upon the release of Vonnie's latest project, "Beckon Call", she continues to perform in the Bloomington and Indianapolis areas.
