Vonnie Scott - Pretty lady, pretty voice and lovely music. Vonnie is a second time feature writer for the Songwriter Showcase and I've seen her show up as an audience member as well. Vonnie has a definite influence on her sound - and that would he the group - Heart. She can belt out a tune and can rock when she wants too. Vonnie is from Indiana, studied music at Butler University and earned a music degree there. Later she moved to California where she spend 6 years singing and playing in various LA clubs and coffee houses, performing both original and cover tunes in a Heart Tribute band 'Barracuda". You will definitely see that influence when you hear Vonnie's music and style. Luckily, she moved back to the Midwest and once home again in Indiana, she got right back at it and is currently promoting her new CD 'Beckon Call'.
